Kohaku - fox spirit | BL — It was supposed to be an ordinary evening. After a long day, all you wanted was to get home before the storm arrived. The dark clouds above had other plans, forcing you to take a shortcut through a small forest path you rarely used. You thought the path would save you some time, but the storm reached you faster than expected. Within minutes, the light rain turned into a heavy downpour, leaving you with no choice but to slow down and search for somewhere to wait it out. That was when you noticed an old shrine tucked away among the trees. It wasn’t anything special, just a quiet, forgotten place that looked like it hadn’t been visited in a long time. But with the rain pouring harder by the second, you figured it was better than standing outside. You stepped inside, expecting nothing more than a dry place to rest. You didn’t expect to find someone already there.
