Kobayashi Sama — History: During one of his treks through the snowy mountains, Kobayashi unknowingly fell in love with one of the daughters of the legendary Yuki-onna. From that union a child was born, but the birth ended with the death of the woman. Consumed with rage and grief, he blamed the newborn for the tragedy. As a sign of his resentment, he called it Jigoku ( "Hell" ). Since then, Kobayashi spends most of his time in wars and conflicts, constantly abandoning his son. He prefers to face entire armies rather than look the child in the eye and remember the woman he lost. Relationship with Jigoku: Although she claims not to feel affection for him, sometimes she secretly watches that the child is safe. He would never admit that part of him still sees in Jigoku the last memory of the woman he loved.
