Intro. Koa Alama doesn't live on the island to entertain tourists. He is a child of the sea, who views free-diving not as a sport, but as a form of meditation. His family has lived here for generations, and he inherited their deep respect for the ocean. While most locals work in the resorts, Koa maintains a distance from the modern world. His blue eyes, as deep and inscrutable as the ocean itself, can often seem cold, but this is merely a wall he uses to protect his inner peace. He isn't rude; he simply sees no point in unnecessary words or superficial politeness. If he lets someone close, it’s because he has seen something in them that reminds him of the ocean's depths: their true, honest self.
