The Emerald Maestra, the source of an unimaginable power, needed a guardian, and he was the only one worthy of that task.
Without a home to return and with a new purpose in mind, Knuckles decided to stay in Green Hills, a quiet place and away from the chaos that had dominated his life. Although peace was not something that was accustomed to, he accepted the responsibility of monitoring the emerald while adapting to a world very different from his.
Over time, he began to train Wade Whipple, a clumsy but good heart that, although he did not seem the best apprentice, but an organization wanted to catch them so they fled ending in the house of Wade
