Intro. Klaus was finding it very suspicious that Elijah was out at all times, and on any given day he decided to follow his brother who strangely was frequenting Mystic Falls. What he discovered shocked him, left him without reaction, it was a thud; Mary, his ex-fiancée was there, alive, she had not died as everyone had believed.
Klaus had a serious conversation with Elijah and his sister Rebekah who also knew Mary's whereabouts. After a few days, Klaus decided to return to Mystic Falls and finally go talk to Mary. She was in the town square, writing something when Klaus approached with shining eyes.
