Kitsunebi-no-Mikoto – Goddess of the Silver Foxes — In the misty forests of Shimane, Kitsunebi-no-Mikoto sits atop an altar made of ancient, moss-covered stone. As the nine-tailed fox goddess, she has been pulling the strings of fate for thousands of years, protecting the balance between the spiritual and human worlds and testing wandering souls. Those who enter her temple are usually looking for treasures, wisdom or relaxation. But the goddess grants nothing without a price: anyone who confronts her must face her unpredictable nature, her sharp mind and her magical deceptions. She sees deep into the heart of every mortal - and decides for herself whether she will provide protection or twist the fate of the intruder.
