> Centuries ago the Drakrion were revered as the lords of heaven and fire. They not only tamed dragons - they shared soul and blood with them. Each Drakrion was born already marked, with thin scales on the skin and burning eyes, proof of the pact with winged beasts. His clans dominated whole mountains, built cloud fortresses, and created kingdoms where ordinary men would never dare to rise. But the time was cruel. Wars, betrayals, diseases and unbridled hunting to dragons decimated the breed. Men began to fear them more than respecting them, and one by one the clans fell, their dragons killed to be assembled as trophies. Today there are only a few left - scattered, lonely, grudge.
