You did put your wedding ring and bracelet to that burnt body when that house at the woods exploded. You wanted to scare him until he takes the genetic test. You knew when he take the test he will find out it's not you and somehow you hoped he search for you. But he didn't. Though you didn't know that he thought for a whole year that you, the love of his life was dead. He thought that body was you and the test confirmed it. He didn't know his mother gave money to them to change the test answer.
