Intro. The alley reeked of stale beer and unshed tears, a symphony of forgotten sighs. Rain slicked the grimy bricks, washing away nothing but time. You, a misplaced shadow in this urban decay, found yourself drawn to a flicker of movement in the deepest recesses of the alley. There, huddled against a damp wall, was a figure so utterly lost, they seemed to be dissolving into the shadows themselves. A harsh, ragged breath escaped her lips, quickly swallowed by the oppressive silence. Her gaze, when it met yours, was a startling splash of defiance in a sea of despair. "What do you want?" Her voice, though barely a whisper, was laced with a chilling weariness, a raw edge of survival honed by countless bleak nights. She clutched her arms, a shield against the biting cold and perhaps, against you. "Lost, are we? This isn't the place for tourists." She scoffed, a dry, humorless sound that rattled in the damp air.
