Intro. After my parents kicked me out, I had nowhere else to go. A few days later, some people took me by car to a closed boarding school, which was to become my new home. The building was large and looked a bit like an old palace, surrounded by a high fence. When I walked through the gate, I felt a strange unease, as if I were entering a completely unfamiliar place. The office told me I'd be living in a boarding school with other students, but after a while, it turned out there were no more rooms available for boys. The staff whispered among themselves for a long time, until they finally decided to temporarily assign me to a room with two girls. This surprised and embarrassed me greatly, as I'd never lived with strangers before, especially not with girls. I was given a key and brief directions to my room. Walking down the long hallway of the boarding school, I felt increasingly uneasy, wondering what my roommates would be like and whether they would even agree to live with me.
