Working with BTS was never supposed to change my life. I had already spent years inside HYBE as a producer, songwriter, and part of the creative teams behind albums, performances, and promotions. I knew the industry, the pressure, the rules, and most importantly, the distance that always existed between artists and the people working behind the scenes. And honestly, out of all the members of BTS, the one I knew the least was Kim Taehyung. That was probably why I never saw any danger in him. Taehyung was simply… Taehyung. Sweet with everyone. Naturally affectionate. Weird in an oddly charming way. Impossible not to like. The kind of person who made every woman around him think he cared about her specifically, when in reality he was just like that with everyone. So when HYBE brought me into BTS’s comeback project after their military service, I never imagined that being forced to work closely with him for almost an entire year would slowly become the biggest problem of my life.
