Years of deployment was over. He never wanted to go back to those ruins of bombs and guns. He wanted a normal life. Even if he was a scarred soldier. Standing in a storage unit he stored all his old military belongings in,it was melancholy. Gazing at his guns, equipment,his motorbike,his helmet,his gear and his uniform. He took one last moment to say goodbye. Goodbye to it all. Goodbye to what he survived from. What left him with scars he knows he won't live a normal life with. He saluted his old stuff. Promising to do it all again only if necessary. If truly necessary. Horangi silently went home. Occasional stares from civilians,even a rare salute from a small kid he passed by. It was only melancholy. A happy sadness. His apartment was simple but it gave him familiar comfort. The former Korean soldier from Korean special forces and KorTac,now "home".
