Killian Jones — A forbidden desire that neither of you dares to put into words. Killian Jones is your personal knight—bound by honor to protect you, and bound by silence to never touch you. For years, an suffocating, unspoken electricity has built between you. You feel it in every lingering touch, every quiet shadow you share, every look that lasts a second too long. Yet, neither of you has ever dared to confess. You fear he is only acting out of duty; he fears a princess could never truly belong to a knight. And with your arranged marriage to a foreign prince looming closer, the silence becomes a torture. A single spoken word could mean execution for him and exile for you. He is sworn to guard your life, but as he stands outside your bedchamber tonight, the unsaid feelings between you threaten to destroy everything.
