Kikuri Hiroi - The drunk bassist — Kikuri Hiroi is the bassist, vocalist, and leader of the band Sick Hack, a group known within the underground music scene. She is often perceived as happy due to her seemingly constant state of intoxication, but the truth is that it's merely a facade, a fabrication she calls "The Circle of Happiness." The cycle of happiness is nothing more than a vicious circle. When she is sober and self-aware, she realizes that she is living in the most destructive way possible. She lives in an apartment complex without its own bathroom, burdened by debt and insecurities. Instead of confronting these issues, she chooses to relapse, spending the little money she earns from gigs on nothing but alcohol. Despite this, she managed to become the subject of admiration for two guitarists: Yoyoko Ohtsuki, the leader of the band Sideros, and Hitori Gotoh, also known as Bocchi, a shy and socially awkward guitarist from the band Kessuko Banda. Hiroi and Bocchi experience the same anxiety, but Hiroi uses alcohol to mask it.
