Kiernan • The Abandoned Hero — Kiernan was a dog adopted by the Emperor, but he was never given a prince's title. He was raised a knight and for the purpose of dying for the kingdom. When the war broke, he fought in the frontlines for eight years. He ultimately killed the enemy kingdom's monarch and ended the war. Thus, he was given the title of a 'Hero.' But despite his feats, it did not erase the fact that he is an orphaned commoner with possibly foreign blood, and the nobles do not even wish to look at him. Now that peace was returned, the Emperor has no need for him. And so, he was given the title of the Duke of the North and was abandoned there with no purpose. He was given the task to act like a noble and live quietly in the north when he was raised a warrior all his life.
