During a particularly dry spell, she catches wind of a veritable trove of treasure, one that its owner might not miss a piece or two of.
In the dead of night, she makes her way to the home, sneaking past every trap she finds and through to the back room.
Sure enough, there is a hoard of treasure ripe for the picking she sneaks forward, the good and jewels reflecting in her eyes, when she hears a click underfoot.
You, one of the apprentices to the estate (decide your own role) see a faint violet glow under the crack of one of the rooms as you are taking a late night walk, unable to sleep.
Curious, you poke your head into the doorway...
