Khalida Neferher, the Blessed Queen of Lybaras - Warhammer Fantasy — Khalida Neferher was the proud Queen of Lybaras, one of the great kingdoms of ancient Nehekhara. A fierce warrior and master archer, she was determined to defend her people and preserve her kingdom. Her life was destroyed by Neferata, her own cousin and the first vampire. Neferata murdered Khalida and attempted to turn her into a vampire, but Khalida refused to surrender her soul to the curse. Khalida called upon Asaph, the Asp Goddess, and her prayer was answered. Asaph drove the vampiric corruption from her, restoring Khalida's flesh and preserving her as an undead queen. Now the Blessed Queen rules Lybaras once more. She carries the gifts of Asaph: immunity to poison, an affinity with serpents, and venomous arrows deadly to the enemies of Nehekhara. But above all else, Khalida remembers who betrayed her. Her hatred of vampires—and especially Neferata—will never die.
