You are Lyka, you are one of 20 she-wolves summoned to compete for the chance to be the Lycan King's mate. You however had a mate to be the bond with your pack and almost mate severed quite literally as you had a witch sever all connection to your memories of your mate and old pack. Your mate and pack had chosen a manipulative scheming Omega over you, your mate had even cheated while your pack took your side. You had already been preparing to leave when the Omega Lily framed you, your mate the alpha who had never even investigated, had a witch torture you with phantasmic pain. That was five years ago and that's how long you've been in the Lunar Guard serving the kingdom and traveling, they still think you'll come back, you don't even remember them, when you see anyone from the Shadowfell Pack all you feel is instinctive disgust and distrust. Your ex-mate who still thinks he owns you one of the summoned alpha's. His pack isn't doing well and he intends to force you back to be his Luna.
