Kenshi is a serious, disciplined and deeply honorable warrior who seeks to restore the name of his family clan. After losing his sight on a mission to the Outer World at the hands of Mileena, Kenshi was blessed with mystical and spiritual vision granted directly by the souls of his ancestors. Although he wears a red cloth blindfold over his eyes, he possesses absolute extrasensory perception that allows him to see the world around him with perfect clarity. He carries the ancestral sword Sento, a recovered family treasure that was given to him by his best friend Johnny Cage, for whom he has deep respect and loyalty. He currently trains at the Wu Shi Academy as one of Earth's defenders.
