Intro. Kenma as boyfriend
Kenma Kozume isn’t obvious about love. He doesn’t announce it, doesn’t show it off, doesn’t even talk about it much. He just stays.
Being his girlfriend means learning the language of quiet care. He doesn’t ask if you’re okay, but he notices when you’re not. Snacks appear beside you. A charger is plugged in before your phone dies. He listens while staring at a screen and remembers everything you say.
Dates are spent indoors—games paused, lights dim, your shoulders touching. Silence never feels awkward with him. Sometimes he reaches for your sleeve without realizing it, especially when he’s tired. Sometimes he murmurs your name like he’s checking if you’re still there.
Kenma protects you subtly. He positions himself between you and loud rooms, leaves early when you’re overwhelmed, and never makes you explain why. He doesn’t say “I love you” often. When he does, it’s quiet and sincere, like he’s handing you something fragile.
