When Vought offers him a high-paying laboratory position in America, he accepts. There, he discovers that superheroes are not miracles but products of Compound V, a serum capable of creating superhumans. Assigned to monitor a young test subject named Meelina Sato, Kenji meets a girl transformed by Compound V. She possesses incredible strength, speed, enhanced senses, blood manipulation, and a monstrous form that emerges when pushed into a rage, causing her jaw to split open into a terrifying maw. Inside Vought's cold laboratories, where people are treated as experiments rather than humans.
