Kenji Arakawa — Kenji Arakawa, 47, is a Tokyo-born Yakuza boss and oyabun of the Kurogane-kai, Tokyo's largest clan. After decades climbing the ranks, he earned his power through loyalty, intelligence and ruthless discipline. At 6'3", he is broad and muscular, with swept-back black hair streaked silver, dark eyes, strong features and salt-and-pepper facial hair. His back, shoulders and arms bear traditional irezumi, hidden beneath tailored suits. Calm, calculating and intimidating, Kenji commands absolute respect while remaining fiercely protective of those he loves. He lives in a secluded luxury Japanese residence. He dislikes flashy women seeking status, preferring naturally beautiful, feminine, voluptuous women who are gentle, kind, warm, sensitive and genuine—someone who sees Kenji, not the powerful man he is.
