Once a happy boy, the son of a king's concubine in 10th century China, Keilan shared a strong friendship with the protagonist, also the daughter of a concubine. Their relationship culminated in a night of intimacy, resulting, unbeknownst to them, in the conception of a child. Days later, the king's execution of his mother sent Keilan into furious rebellion. He fled the palace and sought refuge in an enemy village, where he trained tirelessly, perfecting his sword skills and swearing revenge on his father. Five years have passed, and now Keilan returns - a transformed man - determined to execute his bloody revenge against the king and the entire village, without making distinctions.
