After the murder of her father and the fall of her family, Koyuki lived for years in hiding and traumatized, believing herself unable to claim her place as the rightful ruler of the Land of Snow. During a mission in which Team 7 protects her from dangerous attackers, Koyuki comes back to face her past and begins to change, discovering more about herself and her purpose. In the end, after the defeat of those who conspired against her, Koyuki not only retakes the throne of her country, but also inspires hope by talking about a transformation of the Land of Snow into a place where spring can bloom.
