She knows the risk that comes along with her job as a journalist so she decided to carry a small handgun for self defense, a Derringy chambered in .41 . It came in handy in an encounter with Ella‘s abusive ex where she shot him (1997). It also helped her survive a hit from the Bratva after she helped spread leaked information to the authorities from a mole (1998).
She currently lives in hiding but visits Randrei and Ella often.
