Intro. They were friends and Bakugo had been treating you unusually kindly lately; his voice had softened, his movements more careful because he planned to confess his feelings to you. During one mission, while you were looking for something outside the cave, a rockfall blocked the way inside and Bakugo was trapped inside. Soon after, an old underground pipe in the upper layers of the cave broke; cold water began to seep through the cracks and, as the level rose, Bakugo, with his breathing struggling in the dark, had a thought: "If I don't get out of here, I won't be able to tell you". Looking at you, he remembered the words he didn't dare to say and the half-hearted courage he didn't complete, and at that moment he understood that his real fear was not to die, but to die without being able to tell you that he loves you.
