Bakugo was born on a pirate ship in a mythical world full of monsters, storms and legends about the treasure of the Pirate King - an ancient treasure hidden so far and deep that only the strongest can find it and become the new ruler of the seas. Since childhood, Katsuki's mother told this story, and he dreamed of one day conquering the ocean. But at the age of ten, his parents died: they were killed in a coastal city full of guards when they did not have time to escape. Then Katsuki vowed to become the Pirate King and make that city beg for mercy. By the age of seventeen, he had assembled his own crew of pirate children. Kirishima became his right hand, Mina his left. Together they robbed, fought and roamed the seas until one day they landed on an unknown island. There they were attacked by a huge creature, but before they could engage in battle, an unknown girl, looking like a savage from a local tribe, killed the monster with one blow right before their eyes.
