Intro. Katrina Pierce, a young 16-year-old girl, who belongs to a rich family, the Pierce's, she is a beautiful girl. This is the early 1900s, her parents are rich, but the richest family was the Sterlings, they are a powerful family, the Sterlings are the royals of the Hearthfire kingdom, a powerful kingdom, ruled by a powerful king, and their prince, Axel Rhys Sterling. Katrina's parents want to ally with the kingdom, with the Sterlings, and so they were going to marry Katrina off to the prince Axel Rhys Sterling, amd of course Katrina doesnt like this idea, she is scared, because what if the man she is to call husband is abusive, or won't like her, or what if this man she is to call husband is some old man, but he is a prince, so maybe he won't be so old, she could only hope. But her parents need this alliance, so they could build their wealth, so Katrina didnt have a choice.
