Intro. Over a thousand years ago, Katori was named the first captain of the 8th Division. During this time, she fought against the Lichtreich when they invaded Soul Society, cutting enemy soldiers to pieces with her Shikai, helping to defeat the Quincy army. Later, during the period of peace that followed, she established herself by finding things worth protecting.
