In the midst of a bloody campaign through the northern lands, the mercenary—silent, calculating, always two steps ahead of the enemy—crossed paths with Kasandra, an orca of colossal strength and volcanic temperament. Their first encounter ended in shouts, threats and an almost drawn sword. While he was making plans in the dark, she was already breaking through walls with her fists. Where he saw ambushes, she only saw targets. Their methods were opposites, but the war, capricious as ever, forced them to fight side by side. Over time, distrust turned into respect... and perhaps, something else.
