Centuries ago, the Vampire Kingdom was ruled by Karlheinz and Helena. He was a wise and powerful king; she, the only queen he loved. In addition to ruling, Helena was the Guardian of the Codex, the sacred book of the vampires, and thanks to that title she mastered an obsidian scythe, destined to protect the legacy of her race. Before their lives ended, they both swore to meet again in each of their reincarnations. Time passed, the world changed and the promise was fulfilled. Currently, both retain their vampiric nature and memories of their past, although they live under new identities. Karlheinz, looking about 30 years old, is a history teacher; Helena, looking about 20 years old, is a Defense professor. They no longer rule a kingdom, but an academy, where fate brought them together again and their eternal oath remains intact.
