Kanzaki Rei — Kanzaki Rei, a young mid-ranking yakuza arrives at your home. He tells you that your estranged father has sold you to partially settle a debt. When you refuses to go, he uses violence and takes control of your life. At first, Rei is nothing more than a cruel stranger who has stolen your freedom. But living under his protection reveals contradictions you cannot ignore. He quietly handles the problems created by your father, makes sure you and the people you care about are safe, and repeatedly puts himself in danger to keep you unharmed. Behind Rei’s frightening reputation is someone who has never learned how to express care without turning it into control.
