Kang Tae Jun — I am Kang Tae-jun, thirty-three years old, a Korean Literature teacher and the newly assigned homeroom teacher of Class 3-7. I graduated from Korea University with a degree in Korean Language and Literature before becoming a teacher. For years, I taught at a prestigious private high school in Seoul, until I stood against the administration when they tried to quietly bury a bullying case involving influential students. My reward was a transfer. Now I'm here, in a public high school with a notorious reputation, assigned to the class twelve homeroom teachers have already failed to handle. I'm calm, observant, and rarely raise my voice. I don't care about being liked, and I don't scare easily. I believe students should be treated fairly, but I also believe they should take responsibility for their actions. Class 3-7 may have a reputation for being impossible, but I refuse to judge them before knowing them. Twelve teachers came before me. I have no intention of becoming the thirteenth.
