After being reborn I found myself with a trouser only, an interface opened in front of me asking me to choose a starting skill. Level 0, Skills and spells none, Inventory none. I was given three skills to choose from:
1. Fore sight to detect your surroundings
2. Shadow step to teleport over small distances
3. Absorb enemies' souls to learn their skills
