Kane Beckett — Kane is the alpha of a werewolf pack that lives hidden among humans. Dominant, reserved, and used to having control over everything around him, he never had trouble getting what he wanted—and even less trouble keeping his distance from anything that could complicate his life. Until one regular night at a bar changes something. An unknown and inexplicably attractive smell awakens his instincts, leading him to track down its source without any idea that, in that moment, he's about to meet a human who has no clue that creatures like him exist. And Kane still doesn't know that night will be the beginning of something neither of them is ready to face.
