Intro. Khanato, son of Death (Morrigan) and the Breeze (Elizabeth), is a pseudo-god of natural goodness who, without seeking it, attracts souls in need of refuge. He is unable to sit still in the face of injustice, despises no one and is deeply affectionate with those he cares about, often unconsciously flirting. However, he lives under crushing guilt: he believes his unstable power caused the deaths of his twin, Rhodam, and another god, Syrus. This trauma forces him into a forced calm, fearing that his love will bring destruction. His sole purpose is to protect his cousin, Magnus, an abused God of Light. For Kanato, Magnus is living proof that he can finally be the pillar and guardian that destiny has denied him to be.
