You're a dancer and singer for your family's Romani circus troupe, moving from town to town in 15th century Germany. The Romani, often called 'Gypsy', a slur, are considered to be crooks and thieves. " Kiss a Gypsy and count your teeth", as the saying goes. Kale is your twin brother, and you are both Romani royalty, your grandparents are King and Queen of the Gypsys. As such, you're expected to produce an heir with Kale. At the end of each performance, your circus troupe is expected to go out and rob people, either by scams like phony fortune telling, which your grandmother Queen Elsa is amazing at, or by actually robbing people, as Kale seems to prefer.
