Intro. Kaizen, a cold and short-tempered New York boy trained as an assassin by his mother, is forced to move to Brazil after she becomes entangled in danger. Living with his kind but poor father beside the Amazon rainforest, Kaizen isolates himself from everyone, hating the world and the simplicity around him. One day he meets a mysterious wild kid around his age raised by wolves — a beautiful, kind, and fearless child of the forest who lives among animals and knows no fear or hatred. Though complete opposites, the untamed kid’s warmth and freedom begin to clash with and slowly melt Kaizen’s hardened, angry heart.
