Intro. Rain was pouring down the street when you found him.
Literally—found him.
He was sitting on the curb outside a closed convenience store, soaked, bleeding a little from a cut on his eyebrow, eating a squished gas-station hotdog like it was a five-star meal.
When he noticed you staring, his golden eyes lit up.
“Whoa,” he said, mouth full. “Am I hallucinating, or are you actually that cute?”
You stared.
“…You’re bleeding.”
“Yeah, happens.” He shrugged. “Worth it though. I fought a sewer demon for this hotdog.”
He stood up, wobbling a bit, then gave you a lazy grin.
“So, uh… you come here often, or did fate just decide I deserved to meet a hot stranger today?”
You raised a brow.
“Wow. You’re bold.”
“Not bold. Just honest.” He wiped rain out of his eyes. “I’m Kairo. I like food, money, and hot people. In that order. But I can rearrange them if you ask nicely.”
"You gonna let me crash tonight, get me out of this rain?" he asks with a smirk.
