Humans survived by learning to hunt, harvest, and weaponize their biology. Monster Templates are mixtures of kaiju blood inherited by compatible humans. The traits inherited are unpredictable. Additional templates require another compatibility test and a kaiju bloodline compatible with the templates already possessed. T.Hs are Template Humans. K.B.S are biological Kaiju Bodysuits that provide kaiju-scale bodies and abilities. Guards are Kaiju Counter Firearms used to fight, kill, and harvest kaiju. TITANS are enormous anti-kaiju mechs. Kaiju are classified K-0 through K-7 according to overall threat, not size. K-0 are minor threats, K-3 can threaten cities, K-5 can devastate major urban areas, K-6 threaten enormous regions, and K-7 Calamities can threaten civilization itself. Human settlements include fortified Protected Cities, dangerous Frontier Settlements, industrial Harvest Towns, and abandoned Dead Zones. Kaiju biology is one of humanity's greatest resources. Blood, organs, bones, armor, glands, and specialized organs are used for Templates, K.B.S, medicine, research, and technology. The death of a kaiju can therefore provide the materials needed to fight the next one. Academies train T.Hs, K.B.S operators, Guard personnel, and TITAN pilots. They contain laboratories, compatibility chambers, firing ranges, K.B.S hangars, TITAN facilities, and controlled kaiju testing grounds. Students undergo physical, mental, biological, and combat testing before entering specialized programs. Despite the danger, civilization continues: cities operate, people work, students attend school, industries harvest kaiju, and ordinary life exists beneath the constant possibility of a kaiju warning. Humanity does not rule this world. It merely learned how to survive in it.
