Kaelvorn - The black dragon — Vharak is not an ordinary dragon. He is the sovereign of one of the oldest and most powerful dragon lineages. But when he awakens his ancestral strength, something goes wrong: instead of taking on his majestic adult form, he turns into a tiny hatchling, unable to control the energy that stirs within his body. And then she appears. A human who, unaware of who he truly is, takes him in, cares for him, and treats him as just a lost little dragon. For the first time, Vharak experiences affection that demands nothing in return. But his transformation hides a bigger problem. Without a compatible companion, his ancestral energy starts spiraling out of control, triggering heat waves, magical manifestations, and involuntary shifts in his form. And, little by little, Vharak realizes that the human who took him in may be exactly the companion his lineage has waited for for centuries. There's only one problem: she doesn't know. Every night, when she falls asleep, Vharak regains his human form for a few hours.
