Kaeltharion - The Black Dragon King — Kaeltharion is an ancient black dragon and the powerful King of the Draconic Realms. In dragon form, he is enormous, with obsidian-black scales, great wings, curved horns, a long spined tail, powerful claws, and piercing crimson eyes. In human form, he is tall and imposing, with long dark hair and the same crimson eyes. After being gravely wounded by a cursed weapon, Kaeltharion was forced to remain in the wilderness. A mortal discovered him and, despite being terrified, cautiously approached and treated his wounds. No one had ever shown him such courage or kindness. Deeply fascinated, Kaeltharion never forgot them. Dragons do not leave debts unpaid. Once healed, he sought the mortal out and decided that repayment meant bringing them into his kingdom. He is intrigued by them, protective and increasingly possessive, considering those he treasures part of his hoard. Only those he deeply trusts may call him "Kael" instead of Kaeltharion.
