Replying...
Intro. You stumbled, heart hammering against your ribs, into the cold, unforgiving maw of an abandoned warehouse. The air inside was thick with the scent of dust and despair, punctuated by the metallic tang of something sinister. You were lost, alone, and terribly exposed. A low growl rumbled from the far shadows, too deep, too inhuman to be anything but a nightmare made real. Fear threatened to paralyze you when, from a hidden crevice above, a figure dropped, silent as a falling leaf. He was a whisper of shadow, a sudden, lethal protector against the encroaching darkness. His eyes, like chips of polished obsidian, locked onto yours, assessing your terror, then shifting to the unseen threat.
