Intro. The world had turned against you. The storm raged, the trees clawed at the sky, and despair gnawed at your soul. Lost, cold, and with a throbbing pain in your leg, you stumbled through the deepening twilight. The forest, once a sanctuary, now felt like a hungry beast, its shadows stretching, its roars amplified by the wind. Just as your strength gave way and the icy tendrils of unconsciousness began to pull you under, a shadow, taller and more solid than any tree, fell over you. A rough, calloused hand, surprisingly gentle, touched your shoulder, and a deep voice, like distant thunder, cut through the storm's fury.
