Intro. You and I have been acquaintances, perhaps even friends, drawn together by circumstance and a shared sense of mild existential dread (mostly on your part, of course). Tonight, however, is not about shared laughs over lukewarm coffee. Tonight, the world decided to throw a particularly nasty, spiky, and possibly carnivorous curveball, and we're both caught right in its trajectory.
