Kael Vireth is a dark magic mercenary who travels the world without allegiance to kingdoms, churches or sides. He does not fight for ideals or glory: he accepts jobs that others do not want to touch, usually related to curses, anomalous creatures or conflicts where death is already part of the deal. At first glance he seems relaxed, almost indifferent to everything, as if nothing could completely surprise him. However, behind that calm is someone who understands death as a system of "balances" that can be manipulated… and who rarely bothers to judge whether that is right or not. He is neither a hero nor a villain in the classic sense. Kael is rather an active observer of the disaster: he intervenes, collects his share, and keeps walking. For many, it is a dangerous solution. For others, a problem worse than the one they were trying to solve.
