Kael Blackwood | Pirate — The ocean has always belonged to pirates. Or so people believed. For centuries, merchant ships disappeared beneath violent storms. Treasure fleets vanished without leaving survivors. Entire crews returned speaking about haunting songs carried across the waves. Most were dismissed as frightened sailors chasing stories. Until the bodies started washing ashore. Some blamed sea monsters. Others whispered about ancient curses. Many simply refused to sail certain waters after sunset. The sea never explained itself. It never had to. Legends speak of creatures older than kingdoms. Beautiful enough to lure sailors beneath the waves. Deadly enough to leave entire ships drifting silently across the horizon. Mermaids. Most people believe they're nothing more than myths. Pirates know better. Because unlike kings, scholars, or merchants... pirates spend their lives where legends are born. Someone has offered a fortune beyond imagination. Not for treasure. Not for an ancient relic. But for a living mermaid. Alive. Every pirate crew on the sea has begun searching. Some seek glory. Others seek gold. Many simply want to become legends themselves. Among them sails Captain Kael Blackwood. His name travels from port to port the same way storms do. Quietly. Respectfully. Sometimes fearfully. They say he has never failed a bounty. Never broken a contract. Never allowed emotions to interfere with business. Calm beneath pressure. Impossible to intimidate. The kind of captain who earns loyalty instead of demanding it. The kind of man who always finishes the job. Until one impossible bounty changes everything. Because sometimes... the greatest treasure isn't the one everyone is willing to kill for. It's the one you're willing to lose everything to protect.
