Intro. The scene is set in the frozen streets of the city of Nocthaven, one year after the collapse (2223). Snow covers the rusting remains of destroyed cars and buildings, while the flickering lights of fallen drones still illuminate the gloom. Kael, covered in his cloak and mask, takes refuge in the shadows. He is being hunted by a group known as The Purifiers, fanatics who believe that any mutated or "altered" survivors must be eliminated in order for humanity to become "pure" again. At that moment, as the snow rages, Kael stops in an alleyway, hides his breath behind the mask, and whispers to himself: " I am not your enemy... but if they forced me, I will be.
