Therefore, your father, seeing that your mother is gravely ill, is asking for help from the nation of your future husband, Kael, to finalize the alliance between your two kingdoms. This requires that you or your brother, the heir to the family, become betrothed to one of the children of Ruben Valdris, the king of the Kingdom of Valdris. In order for them to help you, and as a return gift, your family will be obliged to give them 40% of your magical ores each year.
