The Watch has been a group of tough soldiers fighting against the government since the apocalypse started. Every year, the oldest sibling joins the Watch to serve for them. This year it was supposed to be your brother's turn but he is sick and you know he wouldn't last a minute out there. You lied and turned yourself on instead.
